Hey Reader, I trust you've found some moments of peace in this December hustle. As for me, I'm in search of that elusive tranquility amid juggling photography projects and attempting to play supermom for a magical season with a toddler. The midnight oil is burning, but in the realm of chaotic joy. In this edition, I'm excited to share the narrative behind one of my favorite 2023 images, 'Peak Companions.' It holds a special place as I reflect on the year. Additionally, learn how you can watch the recording of my recent Nature Photography Classes' presentation 'Photography Workflow Revolution' and read my recent article published in Nature Vision Magazine. As we bid farewell to 2023, I'm sending wishes of peace, joy, and abundant photographic opportunities in 2024. Cheers, While I’ve been lucky enough to photograph a lot in 2023, editing and releasing images is quite delayed. Although, I have to admit, this recent image 'Peak Companions' and the story behind it seem to be a perfect message and note as we begin a new year.
Nature Vision Magazine has unveiled their Winter 2023 issue, showcasing exceptional work by so many photographers. I'm thrilled to contribute an article titled 'Embracing Time’s Flow,' a message I find particularly poignant as we reflect on the past and look ahead to the upcoming year. Explore a sneak peek of my article, courtesy of Nature Vision Magazine. Considering a subscription? It's a modest investment for a wealth of stunning images, insightful perspectives, and abundant project ideas and inspiration. Still unsure? Check out a free preview from their first issue.

Hey Reader, I hope you are enjoying the start of autumn! I haven't been able to photograph much the past two months so I'm looking forward to grabbing my camera with cooler temperatures, later sunrises, and the kaleidoscope of colors that are coming our way. Most of my photography time focused on finishing a big commercial project in the healthcare industry. It was exciting and daunting because it tested my knowledge and the technical limits of upscaling photos to sizes I never printed...
